Dr Saskia Stam Our local Namibian Vet with more than 12 years experience in private practice
Dr Stam is a renowned, proudly Namibian Vet with a great passion for animal care and a gift for fear-free work with animals of all sizes.
In 2017 she made her lifelong dream of owning and running her vet shop at the Namibian coast a reality. After spending her first few years at the coast doing clinic work, she knew she wanted to slow down and open a vet shop, and a few months after opening its doors Coastal pets added its consulting room, this way she could spend more one-on-one time with her patients and have the shop she had always wanted.
Since then, we have moved locations, expanded and made some really amazing furry friends. Dr Stam and her husband have welcomed two beautiful girls to their family, they love to be in the shop and that means that this will always be a place where your kids and your pets are welcome.

Our receptionist and PA, Leandrie is well educated on flea treatment, shampoo routines, deworming schedules, over-the-counter treatments for your best friend, the best toys, and the tastiest snacks and is a nutritional advisor for hills pet food. She is the friendly face you see as you walk in the door and will always help you to the best of her ability. Any products you could need that are not in store can be specially ordered just for you and your best friend. At Coastal pets, the health and happiness of your best friend are our first priority.
